NOAA Platforms
Fiberglass Platforms Were Fabricated for the NOAA Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center at Ford Island. Because of the harsh marine environment, fiberglass was the ideal material for this application. Elevations on these platforms were important because the system was dependent on having the equipment on the platforms operate at a specific height. After installation was complete and the system was in operation, we were also added handrails and access ladders, an afterthought by the design group. We were able to successfully field measure and install the custom railings based on the site challenges.
